On the Move: Day 3

Socket and Bob Speed Monkey help map our way across Wyoming and Nebraska. In the Great Divide Basin “where none of the water falling as rain to the ground drains into any ocean” we test with the pink elephant squirt gun to see if water flows up, sideways or spins around in circles:)

Wyoming is a land of wispy clouds and wind-break fences. Here are a few of my favorite mountain snow photos.

Logically, the wind-break fences did eventually lead to windmills. Nebraska was my driving shift, hello goodbye! By nightfall, when we get to mid Iowa, it is raining like an impressionistic painting.
