Falling Together

Well we are WAY over due for a post! Somehow we lost track of time after the Fall Equinox…celebrated by our new Solo Stove under the Harvest Moon:)

Long story short, we have slowly but surely been buttoning the house back together amidst lovely fall visits with friends and family. The exterior siding is complete and primed, as the days grow shorter and we often work into the dark hours! Interior walls continue to rearrange and assemble themselves.

The old downstairs toilet now lives atop the leach field:) Woodchucks keep chucking, mushrooms keep shrooming, snakes coil on the forest floor and turkeys frequent our driveway and the neighbors yard, hopefully eating all the ticks! We have discovered a graveyard on a peninsula of Downing Pond that dates back to 1799! But don’t eat the mushrooms that grow THERE oh no…and beware the decoys…not all is what it seems!
