We have completed one full cycle round the seasons and arrived at our Housiversary! The ground explodes with daffodils, snow-drop peonies and butter-cups. Amidst the hustle of last spring, we didn’t notice so many varieties! We also have more license plates:)
Before the summer sneaks up on us and things get overgrown, we spend days hacking, burning, and mulching! The woods have been cleared back to the property lines, making room for new garden beds, seating areas and grass to fill in reclaimed lawn spaces.
Socket is finally enjoying HIS new bed, and I am thrilled to have my little red kayak back from Oakland and out on the pond!
