The color palette of the farmlands of South Dakota is stunning. Those of you interested in progress towards a more diverse and sustainable food system will be happy to know that at least some of the corn has been replaced with Sunflowers (oil) and Sorghum (a drought tolerant, gluten free grain) due to market and climate change!
But don’t worry…the corn is still there…as evidenced by the Corn Palace of Mitchell SD…which has a mural of itself ON itself…in corn.
And also there is Brandon.
