The much anticipated laundry room and shower renovation begins! Its DEMO time in June once it’s warm enough to shower outside.
The washing machine moves left to accommodate the new shower bump out and the last exterior walls are finally insulated!
A new window is added for extra light! Existing plumbing that runs through the shower gets boxed in as the whole space is sheeted with waterproof backerboard, including two nooks and a bench. The hole where the old shower wall was is filled in with concrete as a new concrete floor slopes to our drain.
Finally its tile time! We begin with a pebble stone floor and slowly start to work our way up the wall with reused floor time from another job! Brandon grinds off the old grout and makes some fancy cuts to accommodate our crooked little houses sloping ceilings:) Tune in next time for the completed pictures!
