Don’t get too excited…this post is kinda boring! We’ve been taking it easy since the Big Lift, to let our bodies rest and enjoy the remainder of Fall. Time to take care of those fussy chores and pesky details that we keep putting off…like finishing trim corners and siding paint, putting outlets at the end of our wires, building scrap wood bridges, taking out the trash, and reading the manual for our new chainsaw!
Also this dumb shaped piece of sheetrock and the dumb corner it fits in:)
Oh, and all the raking and digging! A trench for the propane line, a trench for our gutter drains, and 42 little holes for a garlic patch!! I keep burning more piles of removed brush while Brandon digs…the Devils down there somewhere!!
Or not? Legend has it that lightning struck the granite cliffs above Merrymeeting Lake creating a rift in the rock where the Devil could enter our world! Or maybe just a cave to hide prohibition liquor. Either way, what a lovely hike through the leaves:)
