Shadow Land

Late Fall sun casts our shadows long atop Mt. Major, our closest “major” peak, at 1786 ft! In one direction we look North, toward the White Mountains, and in the other toward Home:)

I’m holding off on posting quite a few of our current project photos in anticipation of doing a full Before and After montage upon completion. So, instead, here is Brandon assembling a Walmart table and burning logs from our sweet, fresh cut woodpile!

Dr. Brandon diligently works on On Demand water heater surgery. I play Emcee Escher, puzzling together pseudo-level flooring under a crooked staircase and collaging stone for our new hearth.

The cousin of a Shadow, perhaps, is a Reflection. Little Isla is fascinated to see her face looking back from the camera phone! Yay Babies!
