A first dusting of snow and a half-frozen pond greet us upon return from Thanksgiving with family!
The snow doesn’t last for long (just a teaser) so I use some sunny days to craft bittersweet and Hemlock wreaths. But the Nights freeze, and we are forced to move our “pantry” and prep areas to temp locations inside to avoid exploding pasta sauce. The fridge and sink are still hanging out on the porch expectantly.
Without spoiling upcoming posts, here are some stones on a couch and my mortar mixing setup:) Brandon has been plumbing and hanging out with the Eastern Propane folks…who were SO close to finally having our hot water heater working…and then accidently fried the panel plugging it into a 220:( Captain B hopes for a swift recovery, and we continue to enjoy pallet and brush fires:)
Our simple holiday decorations are also starting to come together. If all keeps moving forward, we MAY have a hearth to roast chestnuts on and a stove to cook Figgy pudding with by Christmas!
I love these photos. I am so happy for you.
I’m with Dad on this! It looks just magical 🙂
You are so creative, Maggie! You can make any place look beautiful with simple natural elements. Beautiful photos!!
